A Bit About Me…
Zoë Gordon is a graduate student of BA. Painting, Drawing, and Printmaking at Arts University Plymouth. Her current artistic practice has been the study of student domesticity, within the framework of realism fine-line drawing.
There is a particular focus on spaces her and her friends have occupied whilst living away from home, and the complexities of human behaviour when operating in this specific dynamic.
The concentration of personality inside a student bedroom, as well as the intimate nature of revealing them with such intricate detail, are the points of interest behind her body of work.
Zoë aims to use the delineate and comprehensive nature of the artwork to invite the viewer in, and to illustrate the importance of each and every element of human existence; to create a sense of purpose and community based off of our shared experiences and similarities.
