This is the current complete body of work for “The Living Room”, titled as such to reflect the concept and subject of this artistic practice. The work aims to showcase the technically detailed artistic interpretations of these rooms, as they have been occupied by myself and friends across my time at university, as well as the life within them.

Highlighting the small joys of domestic behaviour, and using this intentional looking as a tool for grounding, personal reflection, and to help generate a more positive outlook on life.
By revealing these intimate spaces, and inviting others into them, the hope is to inspire communing and reignite some vitality!

Demonstrating that we are all just people, human beings all doing our best to live well while figuring it out along the way; the fact that we’re here and get to do that is a gift and a choice we make every single day.
